With The Draft Being Done. Four Teams Are Looking To Acquire DE Jadeveon Clowney Via Free Agency
The 2020 NFL Draft has come and gone and now the only thing the media and sports fans have to wait on is if there will be an actual regular season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
One thing we will keep an eye on during this period of waiting, is where will former All-Pro defensive end Jadeveon Clowney land.
Clowney is a free-agent looking to secure a contract that will pay him around $17 million a year. And now comes reports that there are four teams that are in strong pursuit now that the draft is over who is ready to push forward with negotiations.
His former team, the Seattle Seahawks would love to have him back, but not at the price he is asking for. Which leaves the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, and Tennessee Titans as the remaining suitors for Clowney’s services. On last month we reported that the Titans may win the sweepstakes for the former No. 1 overall draft pick by the Houston Texans in the 2014 NFL Draft based off of his relationship with head coach Mike Vrabel during their time together in Houston.
All we can do now is wait.
